Sammy update

Sammy has grown quite a bit. He is now pooping and peeing on his own and eats twice as much as he was. He is also starting to chew. His tail is starting to go up and he is much more active with both eyes open and his ears are now up.

Sammy the Squirrel

I was out delivering newspapers with my daughter on Wednesday and she came across a baby squirrel. It was out of it's nest and all alone on the sidewalk. It appeared to be at the time about 5 weeks old. We brought him home and have been rearing him since.

Along the way we are learning all about rearing baby squirrels, which turns out to be quite a job. Either way I thought that the logical thing to do would be to keep track of the process with a blog. So I'll just start out with some pictures and video.
